More about me...

     My name is Annika Carlson and I am a fifth year student at the University of Cincinnati studying Aerospace Engineering. I grew up in Mentor, Ohio, a town that is a short 30 minute drive east of Cleveland. I loved growing up in Mentor, and I wouldn't have wanted to live anywhere else. Despite that, I couldn't wait to start this new chapter of my life in Cincinnati. Ever since I was a kid, I've been drawn to UC. I had family down here and we would visit a lot, often times going to walk around campus. It did not take long for me to realize that Cincinnati was the place for me. 

     Going into my fifth year at Cincinnati, my gratitude for this university and the amazing opportunities and experiences it has granted to me has only continued to grow. I learn more about myself everyday, and I have continued to become the engineer that I aspired to be when I started college four short years ago. Education aside, Cincinnati has given me some of my closest friends and greatest memories, and I will forever cherish the time that I have had here. As I step into my last year, I look forward to living in each moment and taking it all in while I still can.
